Carlos joined Popular Bank in February of 2018 from a well known private banking institution where he assisted high net worth families and entrepreneurs. He routinely and closely collaborates with financial professionals, attorneys, CPAs, family offices and Trust advisors to ensure a positive client outcome. Carlos has actively worked with clients to achieve their mortgage financing needs since 2001. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions and has regularly been awarded company accolades for his contributions.

Carlos specializes in high-end luxury property financing, handling homes, condos and co-ops, as well as multi-family and brownstone financing with a focus in Florida, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

He shares,

“I enjoy creating unique loan solutions that directly fit the borrower’s objectives. I love the interaction I have with clients, business owners and their families. Learning about their situation and truly understanding it allows me to offer a tailored solution.”

He believes there are several factors that lead to a client’s success. However, one that Carlos feels strongly about is that the numbers tell the story. Carlos works with clients to formulate loan options and present the information to them. He urges clients to look at the numbers and use them as a guide because it will always point the borrower in the direction where they feel most comfortable.

“When a borrower can analyze a plan of action by utilizing accurate data points, the path and direction to achieve their financial results become crystal clear. The numbers will gauge a client’s comfort level and help them assess the financial impact.”

Carlos enjoys traveling with his wife and children and is heavily involved with their activities when he is not with a client. He also enjoys reading, golfing and fishing.
