Kenneth Mitchell is a Popular Bank Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Banking for New York Metro. As a member of the Senior Management Team, he plays an instrumental role in advancing Popular Bank’s vision to meet the growing and diverse financial needs of its customers and communities. Ken oversees all Middle Market, Healthcare, and Commercial Real Estate Lending across the organization, leading his team in providing strategic lending and financing solutions. As a seasoned banker, he’s helped hundreds of companies secure the financing they need for success.

Ken joined Popular Bank in 2014 as Senior Vice President and Director of Popular National Healthcare Financing, where he successfully developed and built a national healthcare specialty finance division which offers a full range of strategic financing services, including acquisition financing, working capital lines, equity recapture, bridge financing and capital improvement loans. The group services diverse market segments including the senior housing market, as well as, post-acute care, and a variety of other asset classes within the industry.

Andrew Boland is a Senior Vice President and Director of Popular National Healthcare Financing, a national specialty finance division offering a full range of strategic financing services, including acquisition financing, working capital lines, equity recapture, bridge financing and capital improvement loans. Leveraging more than 17 years of leadership experience and industry expertise, he spearhead’s the group’s strategic vision to service diverse market segments including senior housing, post-acute care, healthcare facilities and a variety of other asset classes within the industry.

Andrew joined Popular Bank in 2014 as a Vice President of Healthcare Financing and later assumed the role of Team Lead. During this time, he was instrumental in advancing the Bank’s mission to provide dynamic commercial financing solutions to meet growing and diverse customer needs. He was named to his current role of Director of National Healthcare Financing in February 2020. Prior to joining Popular Bank, Andrew held several notable positions within the financial services and commercial banking industries.

A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Andrew is an active thought leader within the healthcare commercial banking space. He currently resides in Connecticut with his family.

Gregory Miedrzynski is a Senior Vice President and Team Leader in Popular Bank’s New York Commercial Real Estate Lending Group which offers a full range of financing services, including acquisition land financing, construction financing, and multifamily loans.

Greg has more than 28 years of banking experience. He joined Popular Bank in 2005 and has been instrumental in advancing the Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolio. Prior to joining Popular Bank, Greg held several notable positions within the financial services and commercial banking industries including Independence Community Bank and European American Bank (EAB). Greg earned his MBA from Pace University and his bachelor’s degree from St. Francis College.

Vincent Martucci is a Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Team Leader for Popular Bank. He is seasoned Commercial Real Estate Lender with over 20 years in experience in construction, permanent and bridge financing. As one of the Team Leaders of the Real Estate Department he plays an instrumental role in advancing Popular Bank’s annual loan origination growth goals, managing/training loan officers, and helping customers achieve their lending needs. In addition, he has served on Popular Bank Foundation Board a Bank program that donates to non-for profits through the NY Metro Area.

Mr. Martucci joined Popular Bank in 2015 through the acquisition of Doral Bank. At Doral Bank he was recognized as the top producing loan officer. This was mainly due to his experience and knowledge of New York real estate along with structuring deals that were within the Bank’s lending parameters. He has maintained and continues to develop relationships with Borrowers and Brokers within the industry.

Jorge Morera currently oversees the Commercial Real Estate Department, for the State of Florida, at Popular Bank. He is a trusted Leader, who retains extensive experience in the Commercial Banking Space, and serves as a strategic advisor to clientele.

With more the 25 years of Banking Experience, Jorge has served many roles in the banking industry. He truly started from the ground up, commencing his career as a part time teller, then being promoted to credit analyst, lending assistant, Commercial Banker, and has served in several leadership rolls.

Before joining Popular Bank, Jorge launched his career at Ocean Bank where he was employed for over 17 years, subsequently, Jorge has worked for Regions Bank and City National Bank, in Leadership positions. Jorge graduated with a Business degree from Florida International University in 1989 and has resided in South Florida since 1977.

Jorge feels his greatest accomplishment in his career is the strength of his business and colleague network, which he feels has fueled his success. On the personal side, Jorge is a big sports fan and exercise enthusiast and enjoys rooting for all local teams.
