What is ICS and CDARS?

ICS and CDARS is a secure and convenient way to safeguard your large deposits. Through just one bank relationship, you can get access to multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance at participating network banks.1 And you receive just one statement for each service in which you participate.

Popular Bank, like other institutions that offer ICS and CDARS, is a member of a special network. When we place your organization's funds through ICS and CDARS, that deposit is divided into amounts under the standard FDIC insurance maximum of $250,000 and placed in deposit accounts at other FDIC-insured banks that participate in the same network.1

Have peace of mind with access to multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance.

Your funds are eligible for FDIC insurance protection through ICS and CDARS for multi-million-dollar amounts at participating network banks, all backed by the full faith and credit of the federal government.1 And since deposit accounts are not subject to floating net asset values, you can relax knowing that market volatility will not negatively affect principal.
