Popular Everyday Checking account holders can avoid the $10 monthly service fee by maintaining a $1,000 average monthly checking balance6, or by setting up recurring direct deposits with a minimum monthly aggregate amount of $750.7
With a Popular Everyday Checking account, no fees will be charged for overdrafts up to $50, nor for any declined transactions. A $34 fee will be charged when an overdraft transaction greater than $50 is paid.5 Learn more about our standard overdraft practices.
